Your Responsibilities

As the Brand & Communications Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting all brand, marketing and communications activities, including content production, event coordination, and social media. As a generalist, you are genuinely interested in both talent- and client attraction and understand how to bridge both disciplines to strengthen our position as a top-tier consulting brand.

You will be hands-on, capturing the visual essence of events and creating engaging content for our digital platforms. With a sharp eye for aesthetics, you will tell the NORTH story through photography, video production, and creative Instagram takeovers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop marketing materials across various channels, such as event marketing, employer branding articles, clients cases, and thought leadership articles etc.

  • Publish new website content (e.g., insights, case studies, articles) and monitor performance metrics

  • Report on website visits, social media engagement, and content performance

  • Ensure career pages remain updated across partner platforms

  • Evaluate channels and assist with performance reporting

Event Coordination

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of recruiting- and client events

  • Act as NORTH's on-site visual storyteller, capturing and editing event photos to maintain our brand aesthetic

  • Promote events through live content on Instagram stories, ensuring visuals align with NORTH’s branding standards

  • Represent NORTH at career fairs and ensure the brand is professionally promoted

  • Promote events across channels, including taking and editing event photos and executing Instagram stories

  • Create campaigns, landing pages, and email communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you are a hands-on content creator who loves being behind the camera, capturing authentic moments, and telling visual stories. You have a strong eye for aesthetics and enjoy producing content through Instagram takeovers, high-quality photos, videos, or employer branding articles.

You should have a high level of drive, efficiency, and flexibility, with an independent personality. You thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial spirit. A passion for building and promoting our brand, supporting successful marketing activities, and creating impactful events is essential.

You have the following skills and experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in a student role in branding, marketing, or communications.

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in marketing, branding, or communications.

  • Interest in photography and creating visual content for social media.

  • Experience with content production for social media (organic and paid).

  • A creative mindset with a strong focus on aesthetic visuals and storytelling.

  • Good understanding of how to target multiple audiences (employees vs. customers).

  • Attention to detail and an ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

  • Basic experience with tools like Marketing Cloud or other CRM platforms (a plus).

  • A curious mindset, staying up to date with the newest marketing trends.

We understand and support your studies. You should be able to work 2–3 days a week, with flexibility during exam periods. There are also opportunities to work full-time for shorter or longer periods, for example, between semesters.

What We Offer You

We offer a welcoming, dynamic and challenging environment, where you get to develop a fast-growing consulting company. You will get excellent development opportunities among highly competent and ambitious colleagues and leaders, as well as regular mentoring and feedback to support your growth. You will work with a high degree of flexibility with the opportunity to work from home when needed. This position offers an exciting opportunity to grow alongside our team, with the potential to evolve into a full-time role after graduation.
