NORTH is looking for a dedicated Finance Assistant/Controller to join our team. In this key role, you will ensure financial transparency and stability while being part of a unique and inspiring company culture.
Your responsibilities
As our Finance Assistant/Controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations. Your key responsibilities include:
Controlling
Conduct monthly financial controlling to ensure data accuracy.
Prepare comprehensive and timely financial reports and VAT statements.
Expenses & Accounting
Manage expenses and oversee the approval processes.
Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Project Invoicing & Overview
Manage project invoicing, ensuring timely and accurate billing and payment.
Maintain internal overviews of project allocation and staffing.
Analysis & Support
Support the Head of Finance and Operations with various tasks and financial analyses.
Assist in financial planning and monthly reporting.
Process Improvement
Maintain and improve bookkeeping efficiency using automation tools.
Your Skills and Experience
To thrive in this role, you bring strong financial expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities effectively. You’re confident in taking ownership of tasks while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
You have the following skills and experience:
Qualifications: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 1-2 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or a similar role.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial software (e.g., Corpay, E-conomic).
Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly.
Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision in financial reporting and record-keeping.
Flexibility: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Language skills: Excellent English language skills are required, and proficiency in Danish is an advantage.
