NORTH is looking for talented students with business backgrounds who aspire towards a career within management consulting. As a Business Analyst, you will get the chance to work directly with our clients on diverse strategy and technology projects with a focus on sales and service operations.
Your responsibilities
As a Business Analyst, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Together with your team, you will be engaged in commercial transformation projects for a variety of clients, where you will act as an advisor in building solutions for business challenges in a sales and/or service context. You will typically be involved in all project phases, focusing on understanding business objectives and identifying possible solutions, which will rely heavily on technology, e.g., a Salesforce implementation or another CRM platform. Your responsibilities will be:
Assisting in designing winning commercial strategies and delivering commercial excellence projects
Conducting qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify, understand, and address client challenges
Effectively visualising and communicating complex analyses to client
Performing analyses of commercial processes in sales and service functions to define one global operating model
Your skills and experience
To succeed in the role, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferably, you have knowledge or experience with strategic management, commercial excellence, or sales- and service processes. As a person, you have a high level of drive and like to have a responsibility, where you continuously seek to improve the quality of your work. You are curious, learn to dare, and are comfortable in teams with an empathic mindset. You have the following skills and experience:
You are studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business and have demonstrated a strong academic performance
You have student job or internship experience from a consulting company or commercial experience from a C25 company
You have a strong commercial mindset, seeking to improve sales and profitability
You have an interest in working in the field between business and technology
You can communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple understandable way, both verbally, in writing, and visually
You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
You have excellent language skills in English
We expect you to be flexible and co-operative and can work independently under changing conditions. You should be able to work 2-3 days a week, however, we also understand that you must attend to and prioritise your studies, and we are aware that there will be times when assignments and exams occupy you. Furthermore, it’s possible to work full-time for a short or long period of time for example in between semesters.
